Toni's Bio

Toni Garcia-Jackson remembers vividly the day she fell in love with hairdressing. She was just 13, having her own hair done in a trendy salon. As she sat in the chair, she watched with fascination as seasoned hair stylists worked magic on their clients.

“There was a sense of freedom that I felt as I watched the hairstylists work. I was instantly attracted to the hair art they were creating, ever since that day I wanted to become a hair designer.”

Now a freelance artist, she has been working in print, television and film. I love transforming people. Having what I consider a blank canvas and then creating the looks I want fuels my creativity. Toni’s work has been featured in many magazines including Teen Vogue, L'Officiele, Gmaro & Lucy. Toni was the key make-up artist for New York Fashion Designer, Byron Lars’ Spring Collection video. She has styled hair for NY Fashion Week. Toni has groomed American God's star Ricky Whittle, Malibu Rescue star Jackie R. Jacobson, Vanessa Bell Calloway, Tony Award winner, LaChanze Sapp, Broadway actress Celia Rose Gooding, and  Grammy winner R&B singer Chrisette Michelle just to name a few. She has also done hair and makeup for BET'S Unsung and American Gangster, Trap Queen.
